Eat and drink any time of day at stunning paphos location
I almost didn’t write this review as I considered trying to keep this superb venue under wraps.
Suite 48 is quite simply a perfect place. An oasis of calm in the heart of Kato Paphos close to the Amathus hotel, this venture is exactly what Paphos needed.
This unique grill and lounge bar is set on the coast and looks across a stretch of well kept grass, dotted with a few tables and chairs, sofas and bijoux four poster day beds. Scattered with cushions, these beds are a superb place to sit and admire the sea, watch a beautiful sunset and soak up the castle at Paphos harbour in the distance.
Suite 48 ticks all the right boxes. The setting is breathtaking, and palm trees and sunshades provide ample protection from the sun. But if you feel like soaking up the summer rays, well placed and stylish sun beds give a perfect view over the sea.
A plethora of cleverly placed speakers pipe out chilled intelligent ambient music, which enhances the atmosphere and adds to the overall feeling of well being.
This venue oozes class and style but the prices won’t leave you with palpitations. Whether you’re in the mood to sip a cocktail or fresh ground coffee with your friends, enjoy a tasty snack or give your body a boost with a delicious homemade fruit smoothie; you couldn’t find a better setting.
The outdoor bar is now open and is a good place to people watch, being set close to the seafront promenade.
The staff speak both English and Greek and are friendly and attentive. The food is flavoursome and plentiful. The venue is also available for large bookings and will cater for any special occasion.
Families are welcome here and customers are made up of locals, out of towners and tourists.
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the place, as great emphasis has been placed on attention to detail.
