AS PART of an initiative to raise funds towards opening a dedicated Eating Disorders Unit in Cyprus, British High Commissioner, Peter Millett, and his wife June, intend to cycle 42 kilometres from the town of Analiontas to Larnaca.

The couple are looking for sponsorship involving the donation of a minimum 50 cents or more per kilometre completed.

The route they will take is as follows: They will drive from Nicosia to Analiontas.  From there they will cycle to Lythrodontas , Mathiatis, Sia, Mosfiloti, Psevdas, Ayia Anna, Kalo Chorio, Kalo Chorio grade separated junction and finally to the Fire Department traffic lights, a total of 42 kilometres.

The Milletts intend beginning their journey at approximately 8.00am on Sunday, March 28.  The journey will probably take the whole day as they will have one or two rests.  They should reach their destination by about 5pm.

“Please support this worthy cause.  Every cent is an investment in the health and well being of Cyprus and Cypriots,” said a statement from the couple.
