Touts ruining Paphos
Sir,
As someone who regularly visits the island at least twice a year, I would be most grateful if something could be done about the nuisances who frequent the harbour area and car park in Paphos pushing scratch cards into the faces of anyone as soon as they detect an English accent.
They are all British, and most of them are extremely rude and offensive when they are told to go away. It is a blot on the landscape which needs removing before Paphos gets as bad as Tennerife.
Sadly, as I said, they are invariably British!
