In this video, the A. G. Leventis Gallery showcases six child figurines from its ‘Paris Collection’ of rare Chinese and delicate Meissen and Sevres porcelain wares.

A testament to the collector’s eclectic artistic outlook, each object comes with its own story.

The six porcelain figurines featured in the video were originally modelled by the sculptor Carl Martin Hansen (1877-1941), and depict Danish children during the reign of King Christian X, who ruled Denmark from 1912-47. Each figurine wears traditional garb from a distinct part of the monarch’s territory.
