The Bank of Cyprus has continued its social responsibility duties by helping Limassol during the past year through its regional management office.
As it has for about a decade, the Bank of Cyprus supported the Limassol hospital’s pediatric department by donating useful items for its children’s rooms and other sections. This included thermometres. In previous years, when conditions allowed, Bank of Cyprus staff members would visit the hospital to give gifts to the children in person.
Even during 2020, the Bank of Cyprus’ regional management supported the work of local organisations, which are also members of the #SupportCy network, by donating toys for the Yellow Line Campaign, in collaboration with the Kepaky social organisation’s ‘No child without a Toy’ initiative, while also donating clothing coupons to the Funraising charity foundation. Bank of Cyprus staff members also donated food and children’s items to families supported by the Funraising foundation.
Bank of Cyprus Limassol Regional Manager Ioannis Loizides, on behalf of everyone at the bank, wished everyone a happy new year and thanked everyone at the Limassol general hospital and all of the charity organisations involved for their work.
