The topic of sustainable and ethical fashion is one particularly dear to Gen Z, born between 1997-2012, a generational cohort known for leading the charge against some of the most pressing matters of our time.

Sustainable fashion – clothing designed, manufactured, distributed and used in ways that are environmentally friendly.

Ethical fashion, a related term that is also prevalent in the conscious consumerism world, covers clothing made in ways that value social welfare and worker rights, and may also refer to the avoidance of pelts, leather and animal fibres in the clothes.
