Two Famagusta district beaches have been included in Trip Advisor’s list of Europe’s top 25 beaches, the Famagusta tourist board announced on Wednesday.

Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa and Fig Tree Bay in Protaras were included in the travel website’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best list, with Fig Tree Bay taking the 17th spot and Nissi Beach the 21st.

The list was compiled through traveller ratings and reviews and took into account sea and sand quality, services and facilities, among other parameters.

Trip Avisor is considered among the most credible sources for evaluating all aspects of the tourism industry such as destinations, hotels, beaches and restaurants.
