Here at Good Living, we like to mark the end of the working week with a TGIF recipe… A little note of indulgence with which to treat yourself over the weekend, hopefully catching your breath as you cook, bake or mix something that’s a tiny celebration.
In this video, Cara Devine, host of the Behind the Bar YouTube channel, demos how to mix a perfect White Negroni – an aperitif that’s tailor-made for summer.
As mixologists know, the Negroni is one of the world’s most popular cocktails, and, over the years, bartenders have riffed and experimented with its gin, vermouth, bitters formula. From such efforts the White Negroni was born, invented in 2001 by a British bartender named Wayne Collins.
Why not give this bright, light and herbal take on the classic drink a try this weekend?
