Nicosia’s live music scene is buzzing with jazz nights, rock performances, concertos with esteemed artists and shows by passionate creatives. Soon, an acapella concert will arrive to enrich Nicosia’s live music agenda with a special event.

The Convocanti Vocal Ensemble will charm audiences with a performance sans music at CVAR Severis Foundation in downtown Nicosia on February 11. Get ready for acapella renditions of well-known songs.

Performing hit songs, old and new, music from the Beatles, Billy Joel and Sting, to the Turtles and the Mamas & Papas, the evening will offer a unique repertoire. Included in the programme are also pieces by Irving Berlin and Richard Rodgers. And all this, from just the voice box, no background music.

Making up the ensemble are musicians and music aficionados. Andreas is a broadcaster and music producer, Anna is a music teacher, Christina is a tax expert, Konstantinos is a singing architect, George is a legal advisor and Karinda is a violin teacher.
