The “biggest professional wrestling event in Cyprus history” is to go ahead in May, wrestling company Pro Wrestling Cyprus announced on Tuesday.

The event is set to take place on May 17 at the Ayios Dhometios sports centre, with Pro Wrestling Cyprus saying that “top talents from around the world will converge” in a “series of high-intensity matches”.

Those “top talents” include British wrestlers Iestyn Rees, Tyson T-Bone, Tate Mayfairs, and LA Taylor, as well as Italian Rocco Garzya.

VIP ringside tickets for the event will cost €50, with ticket holders set to also experience a “wrestler meet and greet”.

Normal ringside tickets will cost €25, while general admission tickets will cost €15, students’ and seniors’ tickets will cost €12, and tickets for children under the age of 12  will cost €10.
