The fire department has not settled on a single cause for the deadly fire that claimed the lives of a five-member family in Limassol on February 15, it said on Tuesday.
Fire department spokesman Andreas Kettis said the report had been prepared and would be sent to the police the latest by Wednesday.
He told the Cyprus News Agency that due to the extensive damage, all causes for the fire remain open.
Police investigations are ongoing, on the basis of an electromechanical service report handed in last Thursday.
When investigations are wrapped up, Limassol police will compile a report, which will include all other reports, witness testimonies and evidence collected, and the case file will be forwarded to the Law Office.
