Limassol’s music scene is in for a treat this March as the first pipe organ concert is set to take place. The event will bring together musicians Tatiana Stupak and Elena Soskova performing at the Tatiana Stupak School of Music on March 16.

The pipe organ featured in the concert is German, built by E Kemper & Sohn in the 1950s. It was imported from Poland by Stupak, and was installed at her music school in November. It is the only mechanical action pipe organ in Cyprus, and the only pipe organ in private ownership on the island. A private inaugural concert for invited guests was held in December. Now, the school’s doors open to welcome the public for a pipe organ concert for the very first time.

Multi-talented Stupak will be at the organ; she is holder of the Guinness World Record for the highest concert on the planet. Joining her on the floor will be Soskova who is a coloratura soprano, the highest form of soprano singing. The concert has a charitable character as all of the proceeds raised will go to support children with disabilities.
