Eight people have been arrested in connection with two separate incidents over the past few days in Paphos, while three others are still wanted, the police announced on Wednesday.
For the incident at a nightclub, in which five volley players were attacked, Paphos police arrested five young people, who were charged in writing and will be summoned to court later.
Furthermore, three young Pafiakos fans were arrested for the possession of assault instruments after the end of the game with Omonia on Sunday.
An arrest warrant is pending against a fourth.
Two other fans of the visiting team are wanted for hooliganism-related offences.
Police are examining CCTV footage and have isolated frames of fans burning flags.
