Spring markets, outdoor festivals, music performances and workshops are on the agenda this weekend. Here’s what’s on this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Nicosia will be filled with pop-up bazaars. Common Room will host another Second-Hand Clothes Bazaar on Friday and Saturday, while a Sustainable bazaar will also take place at New Division on Saturday in its lush green garden. For a wider choice of sellers and purely handmade crafts head to the Hello Summer market by Handmade in Cyprus at the European University Cafeteria on Saturday and Sunday.

But it is not just Nicosia that will have markets going on. As this Sunday will be the first one of the new month, Kolla in Limassol continues its tradition of hosting large-scale markets on the first Sunday of the month with the Cyberness Blooming Market’s over 120 exhibitors, DJs, performers, workshops and children’s corners for a fun day out in the city.

Also happening in Limassol this weekend is the Street Life Festival. Saripolou and Athinon streets will fill with graffiti artists, breakdancers, DJs, a pop-up market with local creatives and a series of activities to celebrate the festival’s annual edition.

Amathounta Municipality will celebrate Anthestiria this weekend by holding its 28th flower festival at the parking lot of Yermasogia river on Saturday and Sunday. With free entry, the festival welcomes all ages to enjoy a food and drink night, children’s games, performances by majorettes, shadow theatre and to browse flowers and plants from garden centres that will set up stalls.

The programme also includes two concerts. Melina Aslanidou and Sasa Glyki will perform on Saturday while on Sunday, Michalis Terlikkas, Petros Kouloumis and Michalis Kouloumis will perform live.

Larnaca’s Municipal Gardens will fill with coffee lovers on Sunday as the Cyprus Specialty Coffee Festival 2025takes place. Ten leading Cypriot coffee roasters will brew espresso shots and coffees all day long showcasing their blends. This will be a meeting point for coffee enthusiasts and industry professionals, kicking off at 10am.

Sunday morning has another beloved beverage in store, one with ancient history in Cyprus. The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the author and educator Florentia Kytheotou, hosts the Cyprus in a Glass workshop about the world of the Cypriot vineyard.

Through an interactive presentation and guided tasting of six Cypriot wines, participants will learn about the long history of Cypriot wine, the indigenous grape varieties and their unique characteristics. The workshop begins at 11am and although is free, requires pre-booking.

If it is music, you are after, Nicosia has two exciting events coming up on Friday. The Shoe Factory will host the Quartetto Eos – one of the most exciting young string quartets to emerge from Italy in recent years. Friday’s concert will be its Cyprus debut with a rich programme.
