Two 16-year-olds were arrested on Friday in connection with the damage of a police patrol car on April 17, when a group of young people hurled rocks at it.
In the afternoon of April 17, about 20 people concealing their faces with hoods were reported to have gathered in an area of Limassol and lit a fire.
When the police arrived, the group dispersed in various directions.
During a patrol of the area, some individuals threw rocks at the police car, causing damage.
Investigations led to the two 16-year-olds, who were arrested on Friday and will be taken before a court on Saturday, in connection with conspiracy to commit an offence and causing malicious damage.
