Winds will be south- to north-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort and locally variable and weak, 3 Beaufort. In the afternoon on the southwest coast, winds will be temporarily strong, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
Overnight will be clear with temperatures dropping to 19C inland, 20C on the southeast and east coasts, 17C on the remaining coasts and 14C in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly westerly to north-westerly and locally northerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain calm to slightly rough.
Into the weekend the weather is forecast to remain dry with some high clouds. Dust and high temperatures, significantly above the norm, are expected by Sunday.
