For yet another summer, Kimonos Art Centre presents its Garden Screenings at Attikon – an open-air cinema experience in the heart of Paphos, every Wednesday and Friday at 9pm throughout July and August. Get ready film lovers, as the garden is about to fill with moving images, soundtracks and popcorn under the starry, summer night sky.
This year’s programme includes timeless classics, cult gems and contemporary films that promise to take audiences on a journey. The 2025 season kicks off on July 23 with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Then on July 25, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty will be screened just before Groundhog Day is shown on July 30.
The first of August’s film nights, on August 1, is dedicated to The Goonies, the family-friendly 1985 American adventure comedy. On a slightly more serious note is August 6’s film; The Old Man and the Gun.
Continuing the month’s screenings is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas on August 8 and Back to the Future on August 13. On the following Wednesday, August 20, Garden State will be presented, and then The Roads Not Taken on 22. The final evening’s programme will feature a combination of four short films by Sylvia Nicolaides and Nicolas Iordanou to wrap up the Garden Screenings agenda on August 27.
All films are screened in English with Greek subtitles, offering everyone the chance to enjoy the authentic magic of cinema.
