The week gets off to a warm start on Monday with temperatures reaching up to 37 degrees Celsius inland, 30 degrees on the west coast, 33 degrees on the remaining coastal areas and 29 degrees in mountainous regions of the island.

The sea will be slightly rough.

Mild winds will blow mainly southeasterly at force three Beaufort and gradually shift from south- to northwesterly at up to four Beaufort. On the south and east coast of the island, winds can temporarily increase to strong up to five Beaufort.

During the night, the weather will remain clear with a chance of locally increased clouds with the possibility of light mist during dawn hours. Temperatures will drop to 21 degrees Celsius inland, 23 degrees on the coastal areas and 20 degrees in the higher mountains.

Winds will blow south- to northwest at a light three Beaufort and the sea will remain slightly rough.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be mainly clear, with some areas seeing increased cloudiness and a chance of isolated rain, along with the possibility of storms in the mountainous regions of the island.

The temperature will rise slightly by Wednesday and remain just above average climatological values for this time of year through Thursday.
