A fire and rescue exercise will take place on Wednesday at 9am at the Conference Centre in Nicosia, the fire service announced on Tuesday.

The drill, part of the service’s educational activities to enhance preparedness, will be carried out by the Nicosia fire stations.

Fire engines will be mobilised in the area during the exercise, with authorities stressing there is no cause for concern.
