The season of spring brings much to enjoy. Blossoms, road trips, spring markets, fairs and bazaars.

In the coming weeks, artists and creatives will set up their stalls at several events happening across the island. The first three are coming up this weekend – the penultimate weekend of March.

Technopolis 20 in Paphos hosts a Spring Market this Sunday, March 22, from 10am to 4pm, filling its space with vendors and their handmade items, original gifts and unique creations.

Also happening in Paphos this Sunday is the Children’s Book Fair Bibliocosmos at the Annabelle Hotel.

A wide selection of English-language children’s books will be available for purchase on the day, ranging from fiction, non-fiction, activity books and more. Bookworms can browse the selection here: www.bibliocosmos.com/english-section/childrens-books/.

In Nicosia, the Misfit Sundays Car Boot Sale makes its comeback after almost a year since its last event. Returning to celebrate spring, the event will fill the street of Misfit Union Kitchen with lots of vintage goodies to browse, 20 cars taking part, street food and groovy tunes by DJ Nicos Lazarou.

The road will be closed for cars during the event, making it safe for children, families and doggos to roam around.

You can expect treasure finds, delicious bites and high energy from the Misfit Sundays event, which always manages to transform the industrial area of Engomi into a fun ground.

As soon as April arrives, one more bazaar will be added to Nicosia’s agenda. The Spilia Bazaar – Easter Edition 2026 returns on April 4 and 5, filling Acropolis Park with creativity and colour.

From 2pm to 8pm on both days, local artists will showcase their handmade creations and Easter gift ideas, whilst music adds to the mood and a bouncy castle entertains young visitors.

One more spring fair will take place on April 4, following the Easter theme, as it happens one week before Easter Sunday. Yfantourgeio the Workplace has announced that it is hosting a Community Festival-Saturday Market and an open call is now live for food vendors and makers.

The downtown Nicosia venue will transform into a vibrant street food market and gathering spot, welcoming visitors to enjoy a bite and shop locally-made creations.

Beyond the spring market, the event will also host Easter-themed workshops for children, so educators are also invited to pitch workshop ideas. More information can be found on www.facebook.com/Yfantourgeio.
