A police patrol car was attacked with firecrackers near a church in Larnaca on Friday

“Around 11pm last night, police received information about a fire in a rubbish bin, in front of the church of Ayios Afxentiou and Efstathiou in Larnaca,” police said.

Upon the arrival of the officers at the scene, unknown individuals launched fireworks at the front of the vehicle.

No one was injured in the incident.
