If you are hungry and out and about in the capital this weekend, you can enjoy dishes from around the world on Saturday at the AKORA Street Food Party in Old Nicosia. From 7pm to midnight, municipality square in front of the new Nicosia Town Hall will transform into an open-air kitchen serving all kinds of tasty bites.

Sizzling chicken souvlaki, tender pork fillet brochette, cheese fries, a Greek street-style Vromiko sandwich and a vegan sandwich will satisfy the appetites of eager foodies.

Cocktails, priced at €7, will be made fresh all night long, as well as ice-cold beers to accompany the street food, while on the music front, DJ Maria_N will take over the decks to pump up the mood and amplify the party vibes.

And if you can’t make it this weekend, fear not. The event is set to return, taking place every two weeks so there will be more AKORA Street Food Parties on May 2, 16 and 30, as well as June 13 and 27.
