The Becoming is the title of the upcoming exhibition by independent lingerie brand and artist Miss Funky Natty, which opens this Sunday in Athienou. The creator returns to her home village to share her journey through her collections, in a curated space by creative director Andreas Kadis.

The woman behind the brand, Natalia Pechlivani, presents her latest exhibition which doubles as an audio-visual experience, a journey through her collections and a heartfelt confession. The artistic and aesthetic curation of the exhibition is signed by creative director Kadis, who transforms the creator’s vision into an experience that speaks to all the senses.

Connecting back to the showcase’s title, the creator asks: “When does a woman become?

“Not when she marries. Not when she gives birth. Not when she succeeds at work. She becomes in the quiet moments. In the stillness with her thoughts. In the blooming no one sees. In the resilience of rising, when no one is watching. In the strength of getting up, again and again. She becomes in the becoming.”

Running from 5pm to 10pm, the event invites audiences to slow down, observe and touch textures, listen closely and feel what often remains unsaid. Through a curated installation of lighting, music, scents and materials, visitors will travel into the creator’s world – a world that is honest, slow, poetic, real and emotional.
