Cyprus repatriated 119 illegal immigrants on Friday in the framework of operations by the police and the deputy migration ministry.

The police said that since January 1, at total of 5,288 immigrants residing illegally in Cyprus had been repatriated through voluntary and mandatory return procedures.

Furthermore, since the beginning of the year, 856 illegal immigrants have arrived on the island, compared to 1,299 during the respective period of 2025.

The police said they would continue operations to repatriate illegal immigrants in cooperation with other services.
