Cyprus’ myths, legends and traditions are the focus of a new exhibition in Ayia Napa curated by the Press and Information Office (PIO).

The Myths of Cyprus is being hosted by the Ayios Epiphanios Cultural Academy in the museum spaces of the Medieval Monastery of Ayia Napa.

The exhibition explores Cyprus’ mythology, folklore and cultural heritage through interactive visual and digital displays.

Visitors can discover mythical figures, legendary creatures and locations associated with stories passed down through generations, including both well-known and lesser-known traditions.

Based on the Press and Information Office’s audiovisual series of the same name, the exhibition uses interactive presentation techniques to bring these stories to life.

The exhibition runs until November 8 and admission is free.

During August and September, opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm, and weekends from 4pm to 8pm.
