Cyprus will remain under mainly clear skies on Saturday, with temperatures reaching 40C inland as hot weather continues across the island.

Temperatures will reach around 33C around Paphos and Kyrenia, while Limassol and Larnaca will see highs of around 36C, temperatures in Troodos will reach about 30C.

Clouds are expected to form during the afternoon, bringing a chance of isolated rain.

Temperatures will fall to around 24C in Nicosia, and around 20C in Troodos.

Mainly clear weather is forecast till Tuesday, with some temporary cloud developing in during the afternoons.

Temperatures are expected to remain slightly above average for this time of year through Tuesday.
