Platres comes alive this summer with a plethora of events happening as crowds spend their August vacations in the green mountain village. At the peak of the holiday season, AgroFest returns for its sixth edition, bringing an outdoor cinema night and two evenings of mega parties this August 14, 15 and 16.

The event begins with an open-air cinema experience, which is said to be a concert-style production setup. A massive screen will be mounted at the Platres Arena to screen Interstellar under the star-filled sky. The space-related film also coincides with the Perseids Meteor Shower, which will happen in the night sky next week.

Doors to the cinema event open at 7pm as the ground also includes street food, cocktails and popcorn, while the film screening begins at 8pm.

On Saturday, August 15, the Urban Leggo party will fill the Platres Arena with reggaeton, R&B and dance music. DJs will take over the decks from 5pm, playing dance tunes. International DJ Val is set to perform alongside local DJs Deeze, Dazero, Englezos, Gosha, Veira and El Gato. Shisha stations, bars, street food and entertainment zones will operate throughout the fiesta.

The three-day event will wrap up with an epic Aspro Pato Greek Night party on August 16, bringing Greek hit songs to the mountains. For this event, Agro collaborates with Aspro Pato, bringing a celebration of Greek music, summer parties and unique experiences in rural Cyprus locations!
