Eurobank Limited joined forces with the Pancyprian Coordinating Council for Volunteering (PCCV), supporting the “School supplies for ALL children” campaign and making a tangible contribution to efforts to ensure all pupils have the resources they need as the new academic year begins.
This year’s campaign received an especially enthusiastic response from Eurobank Limited employees across all districts of Cyprus. Employees actively participated by donating school supplies and dedicating their time to collecting and organising them. The response was particularly encouraging, reinforcing the message of collective giving and solidarity that has long characterised the Bank’s people.
As part of the campaign, dozens of school supplies were collected, ranging from school bags and pencil cases to stationery, books, storybooks and educational games, helping to meet the essential needs of children and families across Cyprus. At the same time, Eurobank Limited provided additional support to the PCCV by donating equipment in excellent condition, including desks, bookcases, chairs, computers and other technological equipment.

The school supplies and equipment were handed over to a PCCV delegation led by its President, Elias Demetriou. They will be distributed, through the District Coordinating Councils for Volunteering, to vulnerable families as well as voluntary and non-governmental organisations supporting families and children in need, ahead of the start of the new school year.
Part of the donation will also meet the needs of pupils attending schools in the occupied areas of Cyprus, in Rizokarpaso and Kormakitis, making a meaningful contribution to supporting these children and their families.

Commenting on the importance of the initiative, PCCV President Elias Demetriou and Head of Human Resources George Christodoulides thanked everyone who contributed to the campaign, stressing that by joining forces and demonstrating tangible social sensitivity, we are investing in a better tomorrow for the children of our country. Every school bag, every book and every donation carries a message of love and hope because when we support a child today, we build a brighter tomorrow for everyone. Together, we demonstrate that solidarity is the force that gives every child a smile, hope and the resources and opportunities they deserve to pursue their dreams.
Initiatives such as the “School supplies for ALL children” campaign reflect Eurobank’s longstanding commitment to supporting society and making a meaningful contribution to creating equal opportunities for all children. Through initiatives that promote volunteering and social solidarity, the Bank continues to invest in a future with greater opportunities, hope and prospects for the next generation.
