Intercollege, in partnership with Ocean Basket restaurants, is launching the pioneering ‘Work, Study & Grow’ programme, offering young people the opportunity to combine their studies with professional experience and meaningful career prospects in the dynamic hospitality sector across all districts.
Through the programme, participants can study towards a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts, specialising in Culinary Arts, Pastry and Baking, while applying for a scholarship that can cover up to 100 per cent of tuition fees.
At the same time, they have the opportunity to work at Ocean Basket restaurants throughout their studies, gaining valuable practical experience in a real-world professional environment.
Enhancing CVs, gaining key career advantage
The programme has been designed to bridge education and the labour market, enabling students to put the knowledge they acquire in the classroom into practice, develop professional skills and familiarise themselves with the demands of the modern food service industry through their work at Ocean Basket restaurants. In this way, participants significantly enhance their CVs and gain a competitive advantage for their future careers.
The initiative is aimed at those who are passionate about cooking and wish to develop professionally, offering them a comprehensive experience that combines quality education, financial support through scholarships and continuous exposure to the workplace.
Applications for the programme are now open. Interested candidates can find full details and submit their application via the dedicated Intercollege webpage.
