A 26-year-old man was arrested in Limassol on Wednesday in connection with three cases of burglary and theft, as well as the suspected illegal possession of property, the police said on Thursday.

Bicycle-mounted officers and searched the man after identifying him as a suspect in one of the cases.

A sum of money was found on him, which he could not satisfactorily explain, leading to his arrest.

He was later re-arrested after evidence linked him to the other two cases.
