A total of six kilograms of cannabis were seized by police from a package that arrived at a courier company on Tuesday.

Police said the drugs were seized following investigations that led to the inspection of the parcel.

Inside it, officers found a total of four nylon packages which contained cannabis with a total gross weight of 6.3kg.

Investigations into the case are ongoing.
