Improvement works to the water supply of parts of Nicosia began on Monday, the Water Board of Nicosia and Strovolos municipality announced.

In a joint statement, they said maintenance and improvement works on the network will run from Monday until Sunday.

Traffic on Athinon street will be temporarily blocked from the Pentadaktylos street junction to the Kerameikos street junction, while Diagorou street will be blocked from the Madari junction up to the Athinon junction.

The appropriate diversions will be provided for motorists.

On Wednesday water supply in Strovolos municipality will be cut off for the purposes of the project.
