Just in time for the island’s holiest feast days, season two, episode three of the popular ‘Tia does Agrotourism’ series is dedicated to the Easter traditions observed in two Cyprus villages.
In her inimitable style, travel vlogger and blogger Tia Savva heads for the Nicosia district communities of Paliometoxo and Nikitari, to spend time making traditional Cypriot Easter foods, tend to a host of adorable animals and partake in local hospitality.
She also explores nearby trails and reservoirs, while soaking up the paschal countdown at each village’s main sanctuary.
Episode highlights include:
- Royal Goat Farm
- Panagia Chrysogalaktousa church
- Panagia Asinou Church, UNESCO world heritage site
- Forviotissa Restaurant
- Asinou-Agios Theodoros Nature Trail
- Xyliatos Reservoir
