A total of 9,360 vaccination appointments were booked by those in the eligible age group of 51-52 on Monday, while 6,640 remain available to booked on Tuesday.

The vaccination portal and its 6,640 remaining jabs will be available for the same group until Tuesday at 8pm.

The health ministry also announced that on Sunday 6,027 jabs were booked amongst the 64-67 age group.

Unlike previous announcements, there was no breakdown or details made available of which vaccines and the number people chose of each – Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca etc – but simply stated: “of the available vaccines procured by the Republic of Cyprus”.

As of April 17, a total of 210,576 vaccinations have been carried out with 152,603 first doses while 57,973 people have received both jabs.
