Nicosia Municipal pool will reopen on Tuesday, June 22, operating daily from 10am to 7pm until September 12, the municipality announced on Friday.
The pool will operate in line with existing Covid-19 protocols which sets a maximum number of people admitted at 300.
Entrance tickets can be bought daily, or for the season, which the municipality said it was offering at a lower price this year.
The daily rate is free for children up to five, €5 for pupils, national guardsmen and students, €6 for adults, €20 for a couple and two underage children, €25 for a couple and three underage children and €2 for sunbeds.
Season tickets rates are: €50 soldiers, students and adolescents up to 18, €65 individuals, €110 couples, €130 couple with one child under 18, €140 couple with two underage children, €150 couple with three underage children, €75 couple with four underage children (on presentation of a large family ID), free for couple with six underage children free (on presentation of a large family ID) and €32.50 for holders of disability ID.
The municipality said that from June 28 free aqua aerobic lessons will be offered to season card holders, daily from 9 to 10am, Monday to Friday.
Parking for pool users is free.
In view of the 300 people limit, the public is urged to contact the facilities by phone on 22 797646 and 22 797647 to check on availability before going to the pool.
