Police on Monday arrested a 39-year-old woman who was driving almost five times over the legal alcohol limit.

The woman was stopped for a check while driving on Kofinou-Larnaca motorway near Anglisides around 1.40am.

She underwent an alcohol test that showed 104μg instead of the maximum limit of 22μg, police said.

Police then confiscated her car while the woman is expected to appear on court on Tuesday.
