Police were on Tuesday investigating an armed robbery that took place early in the morning in Larnaca.

According to the police, at around 5am on Tuesday two men with covered faces and dark clothing entered a gambling establishment in Pyla, stealing money from the register at gunpoint.

The perpetrators then fled the scene on foot.

Larnaca CID were dispatched to the scene, collecting evidence that is under investigation.
