A robbery under threat of a knife was committed Monday night at a kiosk in Nicosia.

According to the police statement at around 11pm an unknown person entered a kiosk located on Larnakos Avenue. The person threatened the cashier with a knife and proceeded to withdraw money from the cash register before fleeing the scene.

Investigations to locate the perpetrator are ongoing.
