Police arrested a 24-year-old man, who on Saturday night had caused disturbance in the heart of the tourist area of ​​Paphos, including behaving offensively towards members of the police.

According to the police spokesperson, in the early morning hours of Sunday police received information that behind an entertainment venue on Ayios Antoniou Street there was a half-naked man in a state of intoxication behaving in a disruptive manner.

When police arrived the man became abusive towards them. He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. On Sunday, he was charged in writing and released to be summoned later.
