On Monday the weather will be mostly clear, although initially there will be temporarily increased cloud cover in the west and north, and in the mountains. Winds will be south to southwest, light up to 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, light to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the early afternoon on the south coast moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be somewhat rough.
Temperatures will rise to 38C in the interior, 35C on the north coast, 33C on the southeast and east coast, 31C on the remaining coasts and 29C in the higher mountains.
On Monday night the weather will be mostly clear, but in the west and north there will be temporarily increased low cloud cover. The winds will be north-westerly to north-easterly, weak up to 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be somewhat rough. Temperatures will drop to 20C in the interior, 22C on the coasts and 17C in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, clouds that will develop that are expected to bring isolated showers mainly in the mountains and the interior. On Wednesday the weather will initially be mostly clear, with clouds expected to develop at noon, bringing isolated afternoon showers mainly in the mountains and south of Troodos. On Thursday, isolated showers are also expected in the mountains.
Temperatures will drop on Tuesday, rising slightly again by Thursday and staying close to the seasonal average.
