Electronic music fans on the island can ditch their cars and use the extended bus service which will be operating during the Electronic Music Festival in Larnaca from September 23 to 25 and from September 30 to October 2.

The Transport Ministry said that in cooperation with Larnaca Public Transport, will offer an extended night bus service on route 425 (Larnaca Bus Station – Larnaca CTO Beach) until 3am during the festival.

“The Ministry will continue to take measures to reduce traffic congestion and increase road safety in cases of major events, where there is a large public attendance, so that everyone can attend,” it said in a statement.

The Transport Ministry urged participants to “leave their cars at home and use the buses, which offer very frequent services throughout the city and district of Larnaca.”
