A manhunt is underway in Nicosia after police were informed that a shot was fired in the residential area of Pallouriotissa.

The incident was reported to the police by a man who stated that a shot was fired, understood to be from a hunting gun, outside his building. Local media reported that the alleged perpetrator appears to have financial disputes with the man.

No injuries were reported but police have proceeded with a manhunt to identify and detain the alleged shooter.
