Over 100 third country nationals were returned to their home countries over the past week, police said on Monday.

According to authorities, a total of 166 people were returned, 107 went voluntarily, while 59 were forced to return.

Police conducted operations from June 10 to 16, along with officers from the migration department.

Since the beginning of the year, police said that a total of 4,055 people have been returned, which accounts for 87.7 per cent of all illegal migrant arrivals since the start of 2023.
