First Lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulides attended a reception for the spouses of heads of governments held by United States First Lady Jill Biden on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday.

Also present at the reception was Mareva Mitsotaki, the wife of Greek prime minister Constantinos Mitsotakis, Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Emine Erdogan, the wife of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and others.

Karsera said she was “especially grateful for the invite and the opportunity to have discussions and make new contacts with a very dynamic team of people who do remarkable work.”

She also thanked Jill Biden for her hospitality in hosting the event.
