A 3.7 Richter earthquake struck off the coast of Cyprus this morning, northwest of Polis Chrysochou, the Geological Survey Department said on Wednesday.
According to the announcement the department made, the earthquake hit 90 km northwest of Polis Chrysochou at a depth of 30 km, around 9:30am.
The issue is being monitored by the seismological service of the geological survey and information is published on the their website at: www.gsd-seismology.org.cy and http://www.moa.gov.cy/gsd , and also on their X, formerly known as Twitter, account at @CY_earthquakes.
