An 18-year-old young man is in critical condition at Nicosia General on Sunday, after a 59-year-old crashed into him in Ayia Napa, police said.

According to police, officers are investigating the accident on the corner of Ioanninon Street and Kokkinon Street in Ayia Napa, where the crash occurred.

The crash took place on Saturday evening at around 7.15pm.

The young man was first taken to Famagusta General police said, but then due to the seriousness of his injuries he was taken to Nicosia General.
