Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air on Wednesday announced it will resume flights from Cyprus to Israel.
The company had most recently suspended its route between Larnaca and Tel Aviv in August amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, but now, with a ceasefire between the State of Israel and Hezbollah having been agreed, they have deemed it safe to resume.
The first Wizz Air flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv will take off on December 20, with one flight per day in each direction scheduled for every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday thereafter.
The airline said it will “update passengers about any further developments in due course”, and added that it is “committed to keeping passengers informed of any updates or changes to the schedule and ensuring a seamless travel experience”.
