Cyprus woke up to fog and low clouds on Tuesday, which will gradually give way to fine weather.

Snow on Troodos on Tuesday morning was 8cm.

Winds on Tuesday will be a northeast to southeast gentle to moderate breeze of 3 to 4 Beaufort, over slight seas.

Temperatures will reach 20C inland and along the coast, and 13C in the highest mountains.

Tuesday night will be fine with fine mist, fog or low clouds forming towards dawn.

Winds will be a northwest to northeast gentle breeze of 3 Beaufort over smooth to slight seas.

Temperatures will drop to 10C inland, 12C along the coast and 5C in the highest mountains.

Wednesday will be mainly fine with a few clouds, while Thursday will be partly cloudy with isolated showers. Friday will be mainly fine with local clouds at times.

Until Thursday, temperatures are not expected to change and will remain above the seasonal average, to drop slightly on Friday.
