A man was injured after being attacked with a sharp object, possibly a knife, in the Ledra area of old Nicosia on Monday morning. Police are looking for the suspect.

The victim was injured under the armpit and transferred to the emergency room of Nicosia’s general hospital.

The suspect fled the scene and has not been located yet. Nicosia central police station is investigating the case.
