The week starts off warmer than usual, with a sudden drop in temperatures on Wednesday and snow in the mountains.

Monday will be mainly cloudy, to gradually turn clear in the afternoon.

Winds will be a variable gentle breeze of 3 Beaufort and later in the day a southwest to northwest gentle to moderate breeze of 3 to 4 Beaufort, over slight to moderate seas.

Temperatures will reach 19C inland and along the coast, and 11C in the highest mountains.

Monday evening will be clear with passing clouds and light mist or fog in the morning, mainly inland and in the east.

Winds will be a northwest to northeast gentle breeze of 3 Beaufort, over slight to moderate seas.

Temperatures will drop to 5C inland, 8C along the coast and 3C in the highest mountains, where frost is expected to form.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with local showers and a possible thunderstorm overnight, mainly in the west and north. Sleet is expected in Troodos.

Wednesday will be cloudy with local showers and isolated thunderstorms, and snow in the highest mountains.

Thursday will be clear and chilly, with snow in mountainous areas.

Temperatures on Tuesday will not change, however from Wednesday onwards it will drop below the seasonal average.
